Under the Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC), there will be an increase in all farm gate milk prices for both Food Services and Retail – effective late September/early October 2022.
Feed, energy, and fertilizer costs have been particularly impacted, with increases of 22%, 55%, and 45% respectively since August 2021. This increase will be reflected in the milk class price according to a ratio of 60% on butterfat and 40% on other milk components**.
Your Sales Representative will send you the updated price list as soon as it is available.
In case the updated Dairy pricing gets missed/forgotten, the ownership will be on the customer to ask for the prices.
